The band is based in the town of Stalybridge, Greater Manchester, England.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Band&#8217;s Headquarters is situated at &#8216;Judges Bar&#8217; on Corporation Street, right in the heart of the town. These premises are owned by the Stalybridge Old Band and the bar is named after Jack Judge, the composer of the famous song &#8216;It&#8217;s A Long Way To Tipperary&#8217;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are Charity Commission registered, registration number 515910. We are a\u00a0non profit making, self financing organisation, with several objectives.\u00a0These include to education people, irrespective of age, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage and assist them to\u00a0become engaged in the advancement of learning about music and playing musical instruments.
